Starting as a hunter Is a grand goal to do, starting from the basics. You get your hunters education then you move on to purchasing your license. Commitment is what it's more like. Searching for land is one of the more complex events that occurs in a time of prepping for a hunting day. Looking for the right land that's going to suit your hunting needs. As an upland hunter you find a good land that will have water close by, food source that the bird loves to consume and shade for the bird to conserve their energy. There are times when you get to the land you have been scouting for days on The ONX app and don't find any signs of quail or dove. All the miles you put in looking for the big chunges of a bird. But find nothing but remote beautiful landscape.
Disappointment for a bit that you don't see anything you are looking for. Then all that goes away and you find enjoyment to what you are experiencing. The beauty only a hunter would experience. Undeveloped land with mountain and plains extending into the horizon. Then the following day you go out again and find a different land you are not expecting for it to have any birds. Finally you become aware that you find the spot that will give you a great season and you can't wait what the next season will bring. Commitment comes with very little Disappointment and more Enjoyment. -Wilderness Bro's
